On our Finance Graduate Programme you’ll gain hands-on experience across the business while working towards your Chartered Accountant (CA) professional qualification.

All our engineering graduate programmes are two years long, offering a variety of placements that allow you develop your knowledge and skills.

This two year programme is split into four six month placements across the SSE business units, with the opportunity to choose the areas you want to focus on.

Our Project Management graduate programmes give you the opportunity to develop valuable knowledge and skills while working on high profile infrastructure projects.

On this two year programme, you'll be working to secure, maintain and manage strategic land and property rights across a portfolio of projects.

Over the two year programme, you'll gain experience across a range of commercial activities, building a broad understanding of how commercial decisions are made and how they contribute to successful business outcomes.

From interpreting market trends and analysing data to helping optimise commercial performance, you'll develop a deep understanding of the factors that influence electricity markets and the role they play in supporting the clean energy transition.

Our Business Graduate Programme offers the opportunity to develop the analytical, commercial and stakeholder management skills needed to support decision making and drive business performance.

If you’re successful in our online test stage, you’ll be invited to attend an online video interview. You can do this at a time that suits you best. A video interview is a great opportunity to really sell yourself, but you may feel a little out of your comfort zone. If so, here are some tips:
When you’ve made it through the first three stages, this is your chance to shine in person! The assessment is likely to include a group exercise, a presentation, and an interview. You’ll be given plenty of time to prepare, and to inform us of any special adjustments you require.
