Engineering graduate programme

Build a better world of energy with SSE.

We offer several engineering graduate programmes across different areas of the business. You choose what business you want to be part of, and the learning will be tailored based on your interests and the areas of expertise within the business. Whatever you choose, you will be playing a critical part in SSE’s drive to net zero.

Expect to gain practical skills, hands-on experience and relevant professional qualifications or charterships e.g. IMECHE, ICE and IET. Across the two years of the programme, you’ll gain real hands-on experience, build an invaluable network and develop a unique set of skills that will shape your career.

Thinking about applying?

We offer a variety of programmes across different business units and you will be asked as part of the application process which one you prefer. Once you have done your research, apply for the one that excites you most!
