Our Engineering Graduate Programme gives you the opportunity to develop your career while helping deliver the infrastructure, innovation and expertise needed to support the clean energy transition. As part of one of the UK and Ireland's leading electricity companies, you'll work on real projects from day one, gaining practical experience across a range of engineering disciplines including Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Control & Instrumentation, and Renewables Engineering.
During the two year Engineering Graduate Programme, you'll work alongside experienced engineers, develop your technical knowledge and build a broad understanding of the electricity industry. You'll be trusted with meaningful responsibilities, supported to grow your confidence and encouraged to bring new ideas and fresh perspectives to the challenges shaping the future of electricity.
You'll also have the opportunity to work towards professional accreditation and chartership with institutions such as IMechE, ICE and IET. By the end of the programme, you'll have built a valuable professional network, gained practical engineering experience and developed the skills needed for a successful long term career at SSE.
