Salary: £29,200 - £43,800 + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

What is the Role?

The Assistant Reporting and Control Analyst will support our Business Improvement Manager and all stakeholders within Gas NI, by providing automated comprehensive operational data in a timely manner and in an easy-to-use format. This will help us effectively and efficiently manage operational enablement to improve planning, engagement, productivity, and drive efficiencies within each department, to achieve business KPI’s and meet regulatory obligations. In this role you will:

- Assist in completing the design and build of Power BI reports and dashboards for other business users

- Publish reports via the Power BI service, managing them through distribution of apps and monitoring usage / data refreshes

- Design and develop effective dashboard UX and designs, with utilisation of Power BI navigation features, to ensure optimal user experience and that accessibility requirements are met

- Ingest data from a variety of data sources and perform required transformations using Power Query and Data Flows

- Create and maintain bespoke reporting for each department and create reporting to manage performance and productivity delivery

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Demonstrable experience in the use of Power BI dashboards and reports

- Experience in manipulating custom visuals for Power BI

- Advanced competency in the use of Microsoft Excel

- Experience of working in an analytics environment and an appreciation of prioritising activities

- Experience from a similar role in supporting business critical reporting and control in a medium / large organisation
