Salary: £58,630 - £68,098 + car / car allowance + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role
SSEN Transmission are recruiting for an experienced Service Volume Allocation (SVA) Metering Services Manager to lead the delivery of our SVA metering portfolio in the North of Scotland. This role is vital in supporting project excellence and ensuring compliance with the Retail Energy Code (REC) and the Balancing and Settlement Code (BSC).
You will
- Oversee project governance, ensuring compliance with relevant codes of practice (Consolidated Metering Code of Practice, Electricity Meter Operations Code of Practice and BCSPs).
- Manage and ensure effective engagement with auditors, governance bodies, and third parties.
- Assist with regulatory supplier duties ensuring quality metering systems, accurate data collection and submission.
- Ensure the safe delivery of the project management, maintaining a safe system of work through procedures and training. This will include new connections, meter exchanges, fault resolution and compliance with commissioning and calibrations.
- Co-ordinate planned works and carrying out site duties on SSEN Transmission and external assets.
You have
- A strong electrical knowledge in metering and must include Service Volume Allocation systems LV, HV and UHV.
- A clear understanding of the COMCOP code including the regulations around MOCOP code procedures, relevant BSC codes of practice and audit requirements.
- Direct and personal experience in training and development of staff and processes.
- Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent.
- Knowledge of the Central Volume Allocations systems would be a benefit but not a necessity.
