What is the Role?
This is a demanding yet rewarding role within the Service Operations IT team. This role is primarily focused on managing the successful delivery of a complex and wide-ranging Device as a Service outsource contracts delivered to SSE Group Technology Services (GTS).
Experience of End User Computing, Mobile Device technology, Excellent Stakeholder Management, Contractual and Supplier Management skills, and underpinned by strong continual service improvement skills are therefore required to successfully execute this role.
Responsibilities
As the End User Device (EUD) IT Service Delivery Manager, you will report to the Head of IT Service Operations and assume the following core responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing and managing the performance and quality of End User Device services, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), and maintaining positive relationships with internal teams and business stakeholders.
- Contractual oversight of the End User Device outsource contracts delivered to SSE Group Technology Services (GTS).
- Identify opportunities to optimise service delivery processes and implement improvements to enhance quality and reduce costs.
- Ensure all new End User Device services are transitioned into support with the correct documents, run books and commercial oversight.
- Hold regular service reviews with key external partners and stakeholders, focusing on performance of services and identifying areas for improvement.
What do I need?
Experience of working with an IT Outsource Partner and a strong interest and knowledge of End User Computing / Mobile Device technology would provide a great advantage towards this role. As a Service Delivery Manager we’re looking for the right enthusiastic and motivated candidate with a passion for customer satisfaction, to be able to act and prioritise independently as well as collaborate successfully with relevant peers.
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Proven experience in IT service delivery or IT operations, and in a managerial or leadership role.
- Experience in managing IT services in a complex, multi-vendor environment.
- Proven track record in managing and optimising IT service delivery in alignment with SLAs and business goals.
- Experience in working with Service Now as a primary ITSM platform.
- Strong ability to take ownership of activities, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
