Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in one of the following locations: Glasgow, Perth or Reading
Salary: £62,000 - £82,000 + car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The Role
This is a rewarding opportunity to join a well-established and collaborative Legal Team as a Senior Projects Solicitor, supporting a diverse portfolio of renewable and thermal energy projects across the UK and Ireland. You’ll form part of our team of commercial, construction and projects lawyers working on commercial, route to market, construction and services contracts. You’ll play a meaningful role in shaping projects that contribute to a more sustainable future, with exposure to technologies including wind, solar, hydro, battery and hydrogen. Working in a supportive, purpose-led environment, you’ll be encouraged to share your perspective, build strong relationships, and provide thoughtful legal guidance that helps projects and people thrive.
You Will
- Partner closely with colleagues, project teams and corporate functions to provide clear, practical legal advice on commercial and construction matters
- Build trusted, collaborative relationships across the business, fostering openness and shared success
- Support a wide range of projects, from operational assets to new developments, contributing to meaningful outcomes
- Undertake legal work in-house and engage external lawyers where appropriate
- Contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and alignment with strategic goals
You Have
- Qualification as a solicitor in Scotland and/or England & Wales, with 5+ years’ PQE
- Experience of commercial and/or construction matters, including drafting and negotiating agreements
- The ability to manage priorities with care and confidence, supporting complex, high-value projects
- A collaborative and solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to offer constructive challenge
- Strong communication skills and a calm, resilient mindset when navigating complexity or change
