Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in either Perth, Glasgow, Reading or London.

Salary: £35,200 - £52,800 (depending on experience) + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

The role

You will support the development of the Assurance Framework in a consistent and pragmatic fashion, and in alignment with recognised best practice standards and relevant regulations affecting all distributed energy propositions within SSE ECS.

You will be

  • Delivering regulatory assurance audits aligned to emerging business risks, and supporting external audits as required to obtain and maintain key business accreditations.
  • Supporting the business with their implementation and management of controls to ensure compliance with new and updated regulations.
  • Supporting key assurance processes.
  • Supporting ECS business areas with the creation and maintenance of business continuity plans including the development of scenario-based testing.
  • Management of the ECS documentation on the SSE document library.

You have

  • Competency in leading internal audits and supporting external audits including audit planning, report writing and stakeholder engagement.
  • Confidence using a range of IT applications, including the full Microsoft Office suite.
  • Demonstrated resilience and adaptability in what can be a challenging and changing environment
