The Role
As a Senior Developer - Power Platform, you’ll be part of ECS, providing data and application solutions to support the Enterprise and BEMS teams. You’ll work in an Agile team to develop Power Platform and Azure solutions, build, and use machine learning models, and help shape systems that respond to data in real time. You’ll also contribute to delivering AI and automation initiatives as part of the team.
You will
Demonstrate the ability to analyse complex problems and design effective solutions, showcasing strong analytical and design skills.
Have a proven track record of delivering scaled end-to-end complex solutions, including designing, building, testing, automating, and monitoring using a modern tech stack in a production environment.
Gain hands-on experience with business-critical systems in medium to large organisations, ensuring reliability and performance in high-stakes environments.
Possess extensive experience in environments that follow DevOps principles, with a strong working knowledge of DevOps tools to streamline development and operations processes.
Work closely with the Product Owner, Delivery Manager, and stakeholders to analyse requirements and deliver comprehensive business solutions.
You have
Extensive experience building solutions using PowerApps (both Model Driven and Canvas), developing automations using Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents and reports, analytics and dashboard with Power BI. Fluent in developing using C#, JavaScript and Typescript to deliver Dataverse plugins, UI customisations and custom PCF components.
Proven expertise in developing robust and scalable applications using C#.net, Core.net, RESTful or GraphQL. A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
A strong .NET development background with a focus on Microsoft Azure and / or AWS cloud services, specifically building serverless solutions and system integrations with Azure Functions / AWS Lambda, Azure Service Bus / AWS Messaging Service, and Logic Apps / Step Functions. A firm understanding of containerisation and orchestration using Docker, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Experience in Build & Release Management, Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD), ideally using Azure DevOps (pipelines, repos, releases) to release software to production and using monitoring tools to support the releases.
Familiarity and experience with a range of modern relational database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle PL SQL, MySQL, and Cosmos DB.
