Base Location: For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from one of our Scottish locations – Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen or Inverness.
Salary: £34,749 - £40,939 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role
SSEN Transmission are recruiting an Inspection Coordinator to join the Eastern Green Link 2 (EGL2) Project Delivery team. In this role, you will play a key part in coordinating surveillance and quality inspection activities across the project, ensuring full alignment with established processes and procedures. You will help ensure Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) hold and witness points are appropriately covered, supporting the safe and efficient delivery of EGL2.
You will
- Coordinate closely with internal teams and the Principal Designer/Principal Contractor to ensure inspections are attended in line with project requirements and key delivery timelines
- Maintain and manage the Notification of Inspection register, accurately tracking inspection status, dates, and outcomes
- Upload inspection notifications and reports to ACC, ensuring information is complete, accurate, and up to date
- Distribute inspection reports to relevant stakeholders and work collaboratively with multi‑disciplinary teams to support an effective inspection process
- Support the review, update, and implementation of inspection-related processes and procedures as required
You have
- Previous experience in a coordination role, ideally gained within a large‑scale project or complex delivery environment
- Strong organisational skills, with confidence using spreadsheets, word processing tools, and electronic document management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, collaborate with, and influence a wide range of stakeholders
- The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver objectives with minimal supervision
- A methodical and analytical approach to work, with the confidence to challenge information constructively where needed
