The role
SSEN Transmission is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Support Co-Ordinator to join our dynamic Asset Management & Operations (AM&O) team on a fixed-term basis. In this vital role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth and efficient operations by providing essential co-ordination and organisational support across a variety of projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the success of a forward-thinking team while developing your skills in the energy sector.
This role is a fixed term role for 9 months.
You will
Coordinate administrative, financial, organisational and commercial support to the Transmission Asset Management & Operations and Digital teams.
Ensure all data processed is accurate and submitted on time.
Regularly communicate with external vendors and SSE's Accounts Payable.
Routinely report on key data.
Possess financial awareness of R&M budget and work to strict deadlines to allow for staff salaries and financial commitments to be met.
You have
Strong business knowledge in core discipline, with good knowledge of all departments and functions in Transmission.
Ability to create strong relationships with AM&O team members, engineers, managers, procurement, accounts payable and external vendors.
Good understanding of legal and regulatory obligations for Transmission.
Excellent understanding of Harmony and other internal systems.
Diligence and ability to determine critical issues, escalation processes and issue resolution.
