About the Role
Base Location: Flexible Ireland, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key Ireland sites, which includes but is not limited to:- Cork, Galway, Dublin or Limerick.
Salary: €56,500 - €80,000 depending on experience + performance-related bonus + fleet vehicle + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Join our Onshore Maintenance Engineering team in Ireland as an HV Operational Electrical Engineer, managing high and low voltage assets, performing routine maintenance, resolving defects, and supporting operations. Enjoy a mix of practical and strategic work in the renewable energy industry, ensuring safety and effectiveness of our Wind, Solar & Battery sites.
Key accountabilities may include:
- Performing Senior Authorised Person duties and carrying out high-quality maintenance and fault response for electrical assets.
- Providing proactive technical support and resolving urgent electrical issues to maintain grid compliance and system integrity.
- Monitoring plant health, addressing any potential safety or operational risks in timely and efficient manner.
- Managing contractors effectively, from initial scoping to the completion of works, ensuring all operations adhere to set standards.
- Leading specific projects improving safety, reliability, and design of the electrical systems as required by our operational demands.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Strong background in maintenance, operations, or construction related to electricity supply and HV systems.
- Operational experience, preferably within a High Voltage environment as an Authorised Person or Senior Authorised Person, or capable of achieving necessary competence swiftly.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and contractors with a proven track record of successful delivery.
- Understanding and application of electricity principles and regulatory compliance is essential.
- Ability to work in remote areas so a full driving license is essential, occasionally working at height - for which training will be given.
