Base Location: Inverness
Salary: £28,072 - £32,605 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

We are looking for an Asset Inspector to join our team!
As an Asset Inspector, you will be joining a team of up to eight people who conduct statutory surveying & inspection of the overhead and underground network up to and including 33,000 volts to ensure Environmental Safety Quality and Continuity Regulations (ESQC Regulations) compliance.
Due to the travel required you will need to have a full driving licence so that you can adequately travel within the Licenced area.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Working on your own and with others to walk and inspect the overhead line network within our Distribution area.
- Planning your work to ensure the quantity of inspections are kept to the planned target.
- Deliver a great customer service experience.
- Commitment to working safely; completing risk assessments to take care of yourself and others to ensure a high performance of safety health and wellbeing.
- Improving productivity by finding and implementing innovative and effective business improvements.
What do I need?
- Willingness to travel and enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- The ability to work independently as the nature of the role involves lone working often in remote locations.
- It would be beneficial but not essential to have some knowledge of electricity and our electricity networks along with an understanding of the Electricity Supply Quality Continuity Regulations.
- Competent in your IT skills as data is recorded using electronic devices.
- To be capable of reading a map and drawings related to our network.
