The role

The Transmission Interface Contracts Manager handles Electrical Transmission Contracts to secure Distribution Network connections that have an impact on the Transmission Network. Working as part of a team of Contract Managers, you will handle the commercial management of contracts and update our contractual position.

You'll manage your own portfolio, providing an excellent service to all stakeholders, by managing their expectations and assisting them with any queries they may have.

You will

- Make sure all contracts are managed and returned within the specified timelines given in the offer. This requires interpreting and overseeing the contracts within the organisation to secure approval from senior management and various stakeholders.

- Ensure that applications are submitted to NESO within the specified timeframe and secure proactive engagement from internal stakeholders necessary to make the applications valid upon submission.

- Communicate reinforcement works that have been triggered to our stakeholders and manage the ongoing contractual user commitments for these works.

- Understand and support the development of strategic relationships with Transmission Owners, ESO and Distribution System Operators.

- Liaise with Finance on applicable invoices, receipts, and refunds.

You have 

- Experience in managing and interpreting commercial contracts.

- Experience working within the energy sector or a similar market.

- Knowledge and experience of contract structures and documentation.

- Experience of supplier development techniques and managing the development of supplier relationships.

- Previous experience working within a regulated environment.
