Our Production Technician Apprenticeship offers an exciting opportunity to work within SSE Thermal as we seek to become the leading provider of flexible thermal energy in a net zero world. Transforming high-carbon generation assets to low-carbon whilst ensuring a Just Transition for our people.
What to Expect:
Keadby - Home of two CCGT power stations. Keadby 1 entered operation in 1996 whilst Keadby 2, the world’s most efficient plant of its type entered commercial operation in 2023. Plans to further develop the site include Keadby 3, a carbon capture power station and Keadby Next Generation which could be one of the world’s first hydrogen-fired power stations
