Base Location: Perth
Salary: £50,100 - £75,100 + car / car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Telecoms Project Manager to become part of the Transmission Technical Services team. Our Project Manager will be responsible for focusing on executing projects that align with our T3 network development and delivery strategies.
You will
- Manage the delivery of substation connectivity and capability enhancement projects.
- Manage cross project dependencies, ensuring activities are joined up from an operational and delivery point of view.
- Establish and maintain highly effective relationships within projects, and other project teams to ensure that works are interfaced correctly.
- Support the management of 3rd party contractors, acting as a conduit between organisation and contractor, monitoring contractor performance.
- Manage works on large substation sites, with a strong awareness of Operational Safety Rules and general safety culture.
You have
- Knowledge of the UK energy industry and previous experience of being part of multisite, network wide infrastructure projects.
- A good working knowledge of Project Management methodologies, ideally with a recognised certification and/or professional membership.
- Highly motivated with adaptability, clear communications skills and the ability to complete tasks within defined timescales.
- The ability to work in a technical and organisationally complex environment with a robust problem resolution mindset.
- Knowledge of Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH)/Plesiochronous Digital Hierarchy (PDH) and IP networks including functions specific to Transmission electricity systems specifically the role of reliable, fit for purpose telecoms infrastructure. A working knowledge of VoIP and Portable Mobile Radio systems is also desirable.
