The role

As Senior Risk & Resilience Manager, you’ll play a critical leadership role in helping our Renewables business identify, understand and manage its most significant risks. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you’ll shape how risk, emergency response and business continuity are embedded across the organisation, helping to protect our people, assets and ability to deliver vital renewable energy.

This is a high-impact role for an experienced professional who enjoys influencing at senior level and turning complex risk and resilience concepts into practical, value-adding solutions.

You will

  • Lead enterprise risk management across the Renewables business, ensuring risks are clearly identified, assessed and managed in a proportionate and practical way.
  • Advise senior leaders and executives on principal and emerging risks, providing clear insight to support confident decision-making.
  • Oversee business continuity and emergency response, helping the organisation prepare for and respond effectively to major disruption events.
  • Drive continuous improvement in risk reporting, analysis and assurance, ensuring lessons learned are reflected in stronger controls and mitigations.
  • Guide and develop a small specialist team, creating a positive, inclusive culture and ensuring resources are focused where they add most value.

You have

  • Significant experience in risk management and resilience, including enterprise risk frameworks, business continuity and emergency response within large, multi-disciplined organisations.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the credibility to influence and challenge senior leaders constructively.
  • A proven track record of embedding change, translating complex concepts into clear, practical processes people can actually use.
  • The ability to see the bigger picture, assessing complex environments and prioritising effort towards the most important risks.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain risk and resilience issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
