The successful candidate can be based anywhere within the Yorkshire/Humberside/Leeds region. The role will be a mix of home, office and site based.

What is the Role? 

Due to expansion, we're seeking a Smart Buildings Project Manager to join our ever-growing team. The successful individual will be driven and technically confident to engineer and deliver some exciting projects in multiple sectors, such as commercial offices, healthcare and datacentres. You'll be scheduling, planning, forecasting and managing all technical activities from project conception to completion.

Key accountabilities will include:

- Providing guidance to contractors at the assigned level of responsibility.

- Providing full financial statistics on all projects assigned to you.

- Understanding and be aware of contract conditions and requirements.

- Obtaining, generating and agreeing programme of works, monitoring and recording project progress and deliveries.

- Preparing content and quality of the required descriptions, drawings and schedules.

- Ensuring all project hardware is correctly implemented and installed as specified or required.

What do I need?

- An adaptable and flexible approach to work.

- Excellent communication and report writing skills to maintain strong relationships with all team members and customers.

- A professional manner with dedication to meeting customer expectations, including demonstrating a strong set of values to match those of the Energy Solutions Operations Team - Safety, Honesty, Integrity and Customer.

- Extensive experience operating as either a Project Manager or Project Engineer within the BMS & Controls industries with technical understanding of Siemens, Distech, Tridium, Honeywell or similar systems.

- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful project management, delivering against objectives and to budget. The role may also suit a site engineer ready to take the next step in their career development.
