  3. Project Management: Manage and coordinate regulatory projects to ensure timely and successful outcomes, providing support across the business and the SSE Group.
  4. Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, especially Ofgem, by engaging regularly, responding to industry consultations, and representing SSEN Transmission at industry forums.
  5. Coaching and Development: Provide coaching and guidance to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members and others within SSEN Transmission.
  6. Team Management: Manage a small team of industry experts, focusing on their continuous development and growing team capability.

In meeting your responsibilities, you will be given unyielding support from your colleagues in the Regulation Team as well as wider from your wider SSEN Transmission colleagues.

  3. Communication Skills: Strong communication and writing skills to articulate complex issues clearly and accurately.
  4. Cross-Disciplinary Engagement: Ability to work outside your area of expertise, engaging with experts to gather and present information for investment cases, policy development, and strategy.
  5. Leadership Experience: Ability to shape regulatory positioning, not just deliver process. Focus on achieving high standards for evidence, narrative and consistency, delivering high-quality outputs to tight regulatory timelines. Ability to build trust with both internal teams and external regulators.
