Base Location: Perth, Glasgow, Portsmouth or Reading
Salary: £35,200 - £52,800 (depending on skills and experience) + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Project Risk Analyst to join the SSEN Distribution Large Capital Delivery (LCD) team. The LCD team is responsible for managing and delivering a diverse portfolio of major capital projects and programmes across the electricity distribution network within the SEPD and SHEPD licence areas. These projects range in value from £2.5 million to £100 million, playing a critical role in the development and enhancement of the network infrastructure.
You will
Promote Risk Management and its value within Projects.
Advise Project Managers in relation to Risk Management.
Liaise with the Project team to highlight any issues / concerns.
Assess and explain risk reports in relation to how they affect the Programme, providing guidance as required.
Analyse project metrics and data to best identify and mitigate potential risks.
Ensure the risk reporting management system is updated and aligned with financial impacts to allow for effective decision making.
You have
Significant experience in implementation of new risk management solutions, including development of key performance indicators and reporting requirements.
Experience of risk management on complex high profile, large infrastructure programmes in a regulatory environment.
Proven experience of working in a rigorous programme controls environment.
Well-developed stakeholder management skills as an effective communicator and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
