  • Oversee the network’s round-the-clock operational response, playing a managing role in the preparation, coordination and direction of actions during major system emergencies such as storms and other exceptional events. Your guidance will ensure an organised, efficient and resilient approach to maintaining network safety and continuity throughout critical incidents.

You will contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of policies and procedures supporting safe and compliant working practices across the network.

You have

  • Extensive experience and proven knowledge in the operation and maintenance of transmission plant and cable assets, ideally to ISO 55000 standards. Previous experience as a Senior Authorised Person is advantageous but not essential.

  • A full, valid driving licence, as regular travel and on-site attendance across the operational area is required.
