The Role
Support the Enterprise Control Centre (ECC) business critical Operational Technology (OT) real time systems that are necessary to monitor and control electrical networks. This will include day-to-day monitoring and issue resolution on our primary OT Applications including GE PowerOn Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS), data historian and SCADA simulation as well as proactive support and improvement of such applications.
The role will also work closely with support engineering on substation telemetry, automation systems and communication systems as well as project engineering for OT projects including the design, build and operations of upgrades and enhancements to operational applications and their infrastructure.
You will
Act as subject matter expert for OT applications including GE PowerOn ADMS, data historian and SIM SCADA
Monitor the ongoing health and performance of the GE PowerOn ADMS, data historian and SIM SCADA application ensuring changes to the environment are formally managed, requests and incidents are actioned and resolved in a timely manner and continuous improvement is a focus.
Working with support and project teams: Design, build, configure, test and deliver OT real time system application upgrades and changes ensuring that they meet appropriate company and industry OT Security best practices and procedures.
