About the Role

Base Location: Yellow River Windfarm, Rhode, Co Offaly.

Salary: €40,800 - €61,200 + site vehicle + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time

- The Operations Site Supervisor will lead by example on all site issues SHE related. Create, drive and maintain a positive engagement of SSE's SHE culture into the portfolio of projects that are in the Operations phase of the asset lifecycle. Instil the values of the “Safety Family” within the internal & external teams which work/visit or interact with site.

- Understand & implement Safety and Environmental legislation and practices and policies. Reviewing SHE documentation, showing knowledge of Construction Regulations and practical experience in their application.

- Responsible for ensuring that the SSE SSOW is in place & implemented for ensuring all site personnel are set to work and managed in line with SSE's Safety Management System. Completing due diligence exercises, SHE/Quality audits as per Business requirements.

- Ensure site targets are progressing to plan. Management of site personnel & utilisation of various internal & external resource teams to deliver on these targets. Maintain and develop technical expertise and knowledge in the areas of Wind Turbines, WTSR's, OSR's (HV), Construction Regs.

- Occasional weekend & out of hours work will be required.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Project Management skills including management of risk for delivery of targets to scope, time, cost, quality, safety and security.

- Awareness of Contract Management. An understanding of SHE construction requirements/legislation such as SHAWW, WTSR's, WAH, LOLER, PUWER, IOSH, Construction Regs.

- Previous experience of project site supervision, capability of working to deadlines within various timeframes. Experience of liaising with landowners.

- Knowledge and understanding of HV grid connections & Operations.

- Travel to various sites will be required as part of this role, therefore, a full and valid driving licence is essential.
