Salary: €56,500 - €84,700 + car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent - Flexible First options available
Reporting into the Head of Business Development this role will involve proactively managing and growing our partnerships, joint ventures and acquisitions to build out the Energy Solutions being provided to commercial customers outside of electricity and gas supply. The objective of the role is to provide value for both SSE and our customers through the delivery of new growth opportunities such as Biomethane, 24/7 Green, Commercial Building Retrofit & other energy.
As part of the role you will:
The ability to work closely with interdependent internal and external stakeholders to scope, design and implement new innovative energy solutions to meet the needs of business, while ensuring revenue earning opportunities of SSE and our partners.
You will be responsible for providing robust analysis and clear recommendations to support business development and influence delivery through others.
Knowledgeable in managing customer experience, commercial and economic acumen, and value chain.
Supporting customer facing teams with subject matter expertise and relevant material as well as attending events/conferences representing the Business Development team.
Provide input and assistance in responding to regulatory and policy consultations.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
A good understanding of the energy markets across ROI and NI.
Solid understanding of business strategy and the ability to research different markets, identify new opportunities and report to stakeholders.
Strong analytical capabilities, excellent organisational, communication and IT skills
Sophisticated stakeholder engagement, communication and organisation skills
Team player and able to support the team as a self-starter
