Base Location: Glasgow or Perth (hybrid model with a blend of office and home working)
Salary: £42,600 - £64,000 dependent on experience + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

We’re looking for a Management Accountant to support our Flagship Transformation programme within our Distribution business. You'll work closely with the Business Partnering team and the Programme team to deliver robust financial information in a large programme environment. This role reports to the Senior Finance Manager – Planning & Reporting
You will :
- Preparing accurate and timely financial reports, including key performance analysis, monthly management reporting, project reporting and benefits tracking.
- Supporting the programme and business partnering team to building, review and challenging cost budgets and forecasts (opex, capex and benefits) and collaborate across teams to ensure that benefit targets are built into budgets.
- Maintain effective financial control across total expenditure of the programme supporting any financial input required for programme approval papers and reviews.
- Provide a broad range of insightful business analysis in order to facilitate decision making and identify potential improvement opportunities
- Attend review meetings and provide financial guidance, reporting and review to the wider programme as required.
You will :
- Be a part or fully qualified accountant with previous experience within a transformation accounting role.
- Have a strong background in a project driven business with understanding of contract management, project delivery, benefits tracking and financial planning related to this.
- Be effectively communicate financial performance to operational colleagues to embed financial understanding within the business
- Be experienced in interpreting and assimilating multiple data sources, and rendering into meaningful insight and appropriate recommendations and clear actions
- Be able to manage multiple complex projects/processes simultaneously
