  • Coordinate consenting activity across projects, ensuring consistent, high‑quality delivery that aligns with programme priorities
  • Ensure resources are effectively deployed for environmental optioneering, assessment and the successful delivery of all necessary statutory consents (including s37, Planning Permission, designated sites and environmental consents) in accordance with company policies and procedures and external statutory regulations.
  • Provide clear, practical guidance on planning and environmental requirements, supporting your team to navigate complex challenges
  • Build positive relationships with stakeholders, including planning authorities, consultees and communities, encouraging open and respectful dialogue
  • Drive continuous improvement by sharing learning, strengthening processes and ensuring environmental and regulatory standards are embedded throughout delivery

You have

  • Experience leading or supporting a team, with a coaching style that helps others develop and succeed
  • Strong knowledge of environmental or planning legislation within infrastructure or energy projects
  • A collaborative approach, with confidence working across multidisciplinary teams and engaging a wide range of stakeholders

  • A degree in an environmental or planning discipline (or equivalent experience), with professional membership
