The role
This role is within our SSEN Transmission Cyber Resilience for Operational Technology (CROT) programme team supporting our Digital Strategy and Vision to be a progressive network owner, using digital to enhance social and economic value, deliver a leading experience for our customers and to enable the energy system to support net zero carbon emissions.
The role of the CROT Senior Business Analyst is to translate the customer needs into high level technical specifications, design and develop recommended systems. Collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders to successfully design, develop and support new technologies and products to deliver business outcomes in a Waterfall Lite environment as part of a team.
You will
Oversee in depth scoping exercises during the early stages of work packages; educates junior analysts in effective scoping exercises
Work collaboratively and develop relationships with business users at different levels of the organisation to document requirements and solution specifications
Present complex business and technical concepts to customers at all levels of the organisation
Plan, prioritise, manage, execute and evaluate analysis work across the product lifecycle
Oversee delivery of product analysis across the end-to-end product in a waterfall environment. Delivery work may include representing and modelling data and information, developing training materials and driving the definition of business cases
Drive standardisation of Business Analysis processes and artefacts across the programme
You have
Experience in analysis of business processes related to Cyber Security, ideally in relation to an Operational Technology environment
Experience is coordinating and oversee the work of other BAs and driving standardising across delivery of programme
Experience from a similar more senior support or development role focused on supporting business critical/complex systems in a large organisation
Demonstrable all-encompassing breadth and depth of knowledge and experience at the desired level
Excellent written and verbal skills
