IT Graduate Apprenticeship 

Location: Perth, Scotland 

Salary: circa £21,795 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

 What is the Role?

Join our dynamic four-year training program and earn a BSc (Hons) in IT Management for Business from Dundee University by the end. Our program combines practical training and business exposure, ensuring you develop a comprehensive understanding of core principles, methods, technologies, and professional conduct. As part of this exciting programme, you will also attend Dundee University on day release to complete the academic element of your programme. It's not just a technical scheme; more about learning how we use technology to support the business and our customers.

Once you successfully finish the programme, we plan to give you a full-time position on our Real Time Systems team. Here, you will play a part in evolving technology within our field.

The Real Time Systems team designs and delivers projects, offering support for Operational Applications. Our Network Management Centres use these applications to oversee and control the Electricity Distribution Networks.

As a valued member of the Resource team, you will tackle both small and large projects. Also, you will deliver daily support for our Operational Applications. You will be part of a rota providing 24/7 support for critical national infrastructure.

What do I need? 

We would love for you to have the following to be considered for this role:

  • A Modern Apprenticeship in a relevant area and two science or engineering subjects at Higher level (computing science is recommended) or

  • A Foundation Apprenticeship in a relevant area and two science or engineering subjects at Higher level (computing science is recommended) or

  • BBBC at Higher level including two science or engineering subjects (computing science is recommended) or Equivalent

This program does not accept applications from candidates who have a degree in this or a related subject as it is not designed for graduates.
