  • Head of Regulatory Investment – securing funding for a wide range of critical infrastructure projects progressing through regulatory uncertainty mechanisms.

You will

  • Secure funding for all licensed business activities, including investment and revenue, while evolving our licence and the wider regulatory framework to maximise delivery and performance opportunities.
  • Develop the regulatory landscape beyond 2030, identifying and securing future investment opportunities to enable continued growth.
  • Maintain and strengthen our trusted relationship with Ofgem and GEMA, ensuring effective engagement and compliance across all activities.
  • Leverage regulatory activity to enhance SSEN Transmission’s and SSE Group’s reputation across industry and government, positioning us as a trusted and influential voice.

  • Excellent internal political judgement and practical understanding of how regulatory projects, capital delivery and stakeholder priorities intersect.
  • Effective negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly to a range of audiences.
  • Proven leadership experience, including developing and mentoring high-performing teams.

You are asked to include a cover letter stating which role or roles you are applying for and describe how your experience aligns with the position(s).
