About the Role

Base Location: Glasgow, Perth or Eurocentral

Salary: £74,600 - £112,000 + car /car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

As Head of Finance Process & Change, you will lead transformative initiatives to enhance efficiency, optimise systems, and empower data driven decision making within the finance function. You’ll oversee large scale process improvement projects, champion best practices, and drive change management efforts to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.  

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring long-term thinking to align finance processes with broader organisational goals, using your innovation and problem-solving abilities to develop and implement innovative improvements, automation solutions, and tools to support sustainable growth.  Your ability to navigate ambiguity with empathy and guide others through change will be crucial, as will your skills in building strong relationships and fostering teamwork across departments.

The key duties of the role include:

  • Driving end-to-end process improvements to streamline, standardise, and optimise workflows, enhancing efficiency and reducing complexity.
  • Collaborating with IT to identify and implement advanced finance systems, automation tools, and solutions that improve data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Design and execute change management strategies, partnering with key stakeholders across Finance, IT, and the wider business to build consensus, secure buy-in, and manage expectations around process changes.
  • Developing and delivering training initiatives to support successful adoption of new practices and tools.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and mentoring a high-performing finance team to encourage innovation and collaboration.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

  • Leadership experience within finance transformation or process improvement projects, with a strong track record of success.
  • Proven experience with Lean Six Sigma, Agile methodologies, or other process improvement frameworks and the ability to lead cross functional teams, manage complex projects, and drive positive change.
  • Familiarity with finance ERP systems (e.g. Oracle), automation tools (e.g. RPA, AI), and data visualisation platforms (e.g. Power BI). 
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and influence decision making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence stakeholders and communicate at all levels.
