Base Location: Medway Power Station, Kent

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time - 37 hours per week | Flexible First options available subject to business requirements
Our Role:
This role will be part of an inclusive and high performing team, encompassing multiple disciplines and departments, with an emphasis on maximising efficiencies to achieve optimum plant performance.
Focusing on the Electrical assets of the power plant, some of your key accountabilities will include;
- Asset Management, technical governance & guidance for your plant area.
- Delivery of compliance with legislation and industry best practice.
- Safe Management of Projects.
- Delivery of major outages.
- Budget & Contract Management.
What do I need?
We are looking for someone who has operated in a similar role in the electricity or comparable engineering industry. You'll hold a qualification in an electrical discipline or similar and your background should encompass the following;
- A broad and in-depth operational knowledge and experience of Electrical assets and systems in Energy industry or equivalent.
- Knowledge and experience of managing and maintaining high voltage plant and equipment, synchronous generators, excitation systems, LV distribution boards, actuators, motors and protection and control systems for LV and HV systems
- Budget & Contract Management.
- Regulation and legislation relating to health and safety of electrical systems.
Innovative thinking and good communication skills will also be essential, and most importantly you'll have a passion for safety and successful delivery against key stakeholder requirements.
