About the Role

Base Location: Flexible, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key UK or Ireland sites, which includes but is not limited to: Glasgow, Perth, or Dublin.

Salary: £55,200 - £83,000 UK or €74,600 - €111,800 ROI + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent| Full Time | Flexible First options available

The role offers you the opportunity to join a critical team in delivering the Group’s M&A, bids, investment appraisal, and project financing. You will play a pivotal role in driving forward all areas across the Corporate Finance team, including:

- Leading the execution of M&A, bids, investment appraisals, and project financing transactions.

- Building financial models to support assessment of development assets, M&A, bids, and project financings.

- Manage all key workstreams, including process co-ordination, valuations, modelling, and stakeholder management, ensuring investments are supported with rigour, discipline, and independent oversight.

- Providing transaction management as well as training to junior members of the team.

- Preparation and presentation of Executive Committees / Board papers.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Prior experience in a corporate finance role including negotiating, structuring, valuations, due diligence, process management.

- Relevant accounting or corporate finance qualification typically with  solid experience in a related role.

- Strong commercial and financial acumen.

- Highly analytical and experienced problem solver with a keen attention to detail.

- Confident communicator who can simplify complex messages and provide high quality work on a timely and consistent basis.
