The role
You will join our Southern Europe Renewables business and lead construction projects to deliver renewable energy plants across Spain and Europe. Your role involves building project teams, managing budgets, ensuring timeliness, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. You'll report to the Head of Construction for Southern Europe and work closely with key stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities will include managing contracts and ensuring scope, risk, quality, and cost requirements are met. Lead communication with contractors and internal teams to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
You will
Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of onshore renewable construction projects in Spain and Southern Europe.
Support procurement and program activities, CAPEX estimations and scheduled definition during the preparatory phase of construction.
Manage a team of project professionals to deliver high-quality projects within budget and on schedule.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality legislation, and effectively manage construction contracts.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive project success.
You have
Significant knowledge of construction renewable energy projects and project management practices.
Strong understanding of health & safety legislation, quality standards, and risk management in infrastructure projects.
Experience in site and project management in the wind and PV sectors, with an engineering degree ideally in Civil/Electrical.
Fluency in English is essential with a second European language. (Spanish, French or Greek preferred.)
Willingness to travel regularly to project construction sites in Spain and Southern Europe.
