What is the Role? 

As a member of the Regulation team, you will help the wider SSEN Transmission business understand the opportunities and barriers to delivering projects, new services, and consumer outcomes by translating existing policies and regulations and identifying upcoming reforms. You will work across a range of policy areas including, price controls, industry reform and wider net zero policy.  You will support the team in the development and implementation of broader work packages, including the ASTI framework submissions and the enduring regulatory price controls.

Working as part of our multi-disciplined teams, we have a range of opportunities for graduates to support projects across our Transmission business. We're at the forefront of high-profile projects which are ensuring our transmission network is structurally sound, operating safely and efficiently and providing sustainable and reliable energy to all.

What do I need to join?  

You will have a minimum of a 2:2 in the desired degree disciplines listed above.

  • If you’re successful, we’ll be in touch by Monday 10 November 2025 with an invitation to complete an online video interview
  • Our Hiring Managers will carefully review all video interviews, and if you make it through, we’ll contact you by Wednesday 10 December 2025 with an invite to attend our Assessment Day expected to take place January/February 2026. We’ll need you to confirm your attendance by Sunday 4 January 2026.
