The role

We’re looking for a detail‑driven Billing Support Agent to help ensure major business group bills are produced within prescribed timescales.

Working closely with Billing Account Managers, you’ll take ownership of labour‑intensive billing tasks, help resolve billing issues and exception items that impact on bill accuracy and issuance to support delivery of a seamless billing experience for our MBS customers.

This role suits someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, can respond to time‑critical demands, and enjoys balancing reactive issue resolution with proactive billing assurance as priorities change.

What you’ll bring

  • A strong focus on accuracy, quality, and right‑first‑time billing
  • Confidence investigating and resolving billing and data issues
  • The ability to prioritise work and meet tight deadlines
  • Clear communication and strong teamwork skills
  • Analytical capability, including reconciliation and Microsoft Excel skills
  • A safety‑first mindset and commitment to continuous improvement

You Have 

  • Experience in major business or group billing environments
  • An understanding of end‑to‑end billing processes and billing workflows
  • Experience working through billing exceptions and unbilled items
  • Knowledge of meter read and consumption data and its impact on billing outcomes
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills to analyse data, identify anomalies, and support investigations
