Base Location: Mobilisation from Montrose, Angus, Scotland. This is an offshore role based on a Service Operation Vessel (SOV), operating on a rotational shift pattern.

Salary: £44,000 - £65,900 depending on experience + offshore allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Offshore rotational shift pattern

The role

As Offshore Shift Manager, you'll lead the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm, one of the UK's largest renewable energy assets. You'll be the senior operational leader offshore during your shift, coordinating maintenance, supporting high-performing teams, and working closely with onshore colleagues and contractors to maximise asset performance while maintaining the highest safety standards.

You will

  • Lead offshore operations, ensuring maintenance and operational activities are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with statutory and company requirements.
  • Manage contractors, influencing decision making and maintaining relationships to deliver efficient operations and achieve targets.
  • Coordinate daily, weekly and monthly work plans with planners, technicians and contractors to maximise turbine availability and minimise downtime.
  • Lead and develop offshore teams, providing line management, coaching and performance support for Shift Supervisors and Balance of Plant Technicians.
  • Act as the offshore operational lead during incidents and emergency situations, making informed decisions and ensuring effective communication with onshore teams and key stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve safety, operational performance and ways of working, while supporting accurate reporting and maintenance management.

You have

  • Significant operational leadership experience within offshore wind or a comparable industrial environment, including experience managing maintenance and operational activities.
  • Experience leading teams, managing/influencing contractors and coordinating wider support functions, with the ability to coach, develop and motivate people while promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Strong planning and coordination skills, with experience managing multiple priorities to deliver operational and production targets.
  • A recognised technical qualification or equivalent industry experience, together with knowledge of safe systems of work and maintenance management systems such as Maximo or similar.
  • The ability to work offshore on a rotational shift pattern, with a valid offshore medical and GWO training (or the ability to obtain and maintain these requirements).
