Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in one of the following locations Perth, Cardiff or Reading.

The role

This position within the Flex Pricing & Contract Management team is a new Data Support role designed to strengthen the team’s analytical capability and ensure the accuracy, reliability, and accessibility of key data assets. The role underpins the team’s ability to produce high‑quality reporting, maintain trusted data sources, and deliver effective Power BI solutions that support operational and strategic decision‑making.

The role ensures the stability and continuous improvement of the team’s reporting ecosystem by maintaining core datasets, supporting the Lead Analyst, resolving data‑related queries, and designing and enhancing Power BI dashboards and semantic models. It acts as a central coordination point for data quality issues, ensuring that insights delivered to Key Stakeholders are robust, timely, and actionable.

You will

• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards that provide clear, intuitive, and actionable insights for operational and leadership teams.
• Work closely with analysts, pricing specialists, and operational teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.
• Identify data quality issues, recurring inconsistencies, and upstream process gaps, contributing to root‑cause analysis and long‑term solutions.
• Develop and optimise DAX measures, calculated columns, and data models to ensure efficient performance and accurate reporting.
• Investigate and resolve data‑related queries by extracting, analysing, and interpreting information from multiple systems.

You have

• Demonstrated experience designing, building, and maintaining Power BI dashboards.
• Experience maintaining and enhancing Power BI semantic models and dataflows.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, anomalies, and root causes.
• Strong working knowledge of DAX, including measure creation, optimisation, and debugging.
• Organised, methodical, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
