The Role

Are you an experienced maintenance professional with a background in electrical, instrumentation or industrial plant operations? We're looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Supervisor to help maintain the safe, reliable and efficient operation of Tawnaghmore Power Station.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll supervise maintenance activities, coordinate contractors, support plant improvement projects and play a key part in delivering planned and reactive work safely and effectively. As a valued member of the site team, you'll contribute to maintenance strategies that help maximise plant performance and reliability.

You will

  • Lead and coordinate maintenance activities across electrical and instrumentation assets to support safe, reliable and efficient operation of the power station.
  • Plan, organise and supervise contractors, ensuring all work is delivered safely and in line with technical, commercial and environmental requirements.
  • Support the delivery of engineering projects, including specification development, procurement, implementation and commissioning activities.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, plant information and documentation to support compliance, continuous improvement and asset reliability.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by applying safe systems of work and ensuring compliance with company procedures and statutory requirements.

You have

  • A recognised trade qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation or Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent technical qualification.
  • Experience working within power generation, utilities, manufacturing, process industries or a similar industrial environment.
  • Experience supervising maintenance activities and coordinating contractors to deliver work safely and effectively.
  • Knowledge of maintenance management systems such as Maximo and an understanding of maintenance planning and work control processes.
  • A proactive approach to safety, continuous improvement and problem-solving, with the confidence to challenge existing ways of working and identify better solutions.
