The role

We’re looking for a Commercial & Construction Solicitor to join our welcoming and well-established legal team. This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in supporting a business that is powering communities and shaping a more sustainable future.

We transport energy from where it is generated to where it is needed, helping to ensure a safe and reliable electricity supply for the communities we serve. But that's not all – we're upgrading the grid to deliver cleaner, homegrown energy for the future and building a network for net zero to create secure power for generations to come.

You will

- Offering clear, thoughtful, and commercially aware legal guidance on a range of commercial, construction, regulatory, and procurement matters.

- Helping teams to understand legal considerations and navigate risk with confidence and clarity.

- Contributing as a valued member of the legal team, supporting colleagues across the business to achieve shared goals.

You have

- A collaborative mindset, with the confidence to work independently while staying connected to the wider team.

- The ability to build positive, trusted relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and external counsel.
