UAT Specialist

Base Location: Dublin

Salary: €38,400 - €57,600 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: 18-month Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible First options available

The role

Our UAT Specialists will support the execution of User Acceptance Testing activities within Project Keystone by ensuring that business requirements are accurately translated into test cases and effectively validated. Keystone is a major transformation programme which involves the implementation of a new integrated billing and CRM system into the SSE Airtricity supply business.

You will

• Collaborate with the UAT Manager and business stakeholders to understand system requirements and workflows
• Develop detailed and accurate test cases, scripts, and scenarios that reflect real-world business processes
• Ensure Entry/Exit criteria is agreed and obtained, and execute UAT test cases and record results systematically
• Collaborate with IT teams to clarify and resolve defects, and re-test resolved defects to ensure fixes are implemented correctly
• Act as a liaison between business users and the technical team during UAT, and provide hands-on support to business users participating in testing, ensuring they understand test cases and expected outcomes

You have

• Demonstrable experience in software testing, quality assurance or a related role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document and explain test results
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• A familiarity with defect tracking and testing tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
