Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in one of the following locations: Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen or an alternative SSER location.
Salary: £50,100 - £75,100 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role
You’ll play a key role in ensuring Health, Safety and Environmental risks are effectively managed during the design and pre-construction phases of our major offshore wind projects. Working closely with engineering and project teams, you’ll help embed a “safe by design” approach and support compliance with UK regulations.
You will
Lead and support hazard identification and risk assessment workshops, ensuring risks are identified early and reduced through design.
Provide technical HSE input into design deliverables, contracts and employer requirements for contractors and suppliers.
Support the coordination of design risk management in line with UK regulations, including assisting the Principal Designer during pre-construction.
Develop and implement project HSE management plans for the design phase, ensuring alignment with legal and organisational standards.
Work with engineering, quality and project teams to assess and improve the HSE competence of designers and contractors.
You have
Significant experience in health, safety and environmental management within engineering or infrastructure projects, ideally in offshore wind or renewables.
Proven ability to support or lead design risk management activities, including hazard identification and risk workshops.
Good understanding of UK health and safety legislation, particularly design-phase requirements (e.g. CDM).
Experience working with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and influencing design decisions.
Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and build effective working relationships.
