“Can you keep our turbines turning?”

The role

As Stores Person, you’ll be responsible for maintaining storage and inventory control across renewable generation, ensuring critical stock is replenished, stored correctly, and delivered to site on time. This is a key role in maximising the availability of the onshore fleet, responding to faulted turbines with the efficient delivery of spare parts to get them back online.

You’ll also participate in the housekeeping and maintenance of the site Stores facility, routine maintenance of site equipment & assisting with site compliance to SHE and ROI Government regulations.

You will

• Guarantee spare parts are delivered on time and in perfect condition.
• Ensure safety site compliance to LOLER and COSHH regulations.
• Raise purchase requests for replenishment of stock items, receiving and receipting of goods.
• Operate the warehouse management system and produce accurate stock records.
• Gather information for Reports on Key Performance Indicators weekly & monthly as required.

You have

• Knowledge of Safety legislation and the application of safe systems of work.
• Awareness of LOLER & COSHH rules.
• Understanding or willingness to learn Stock, Control & Logistics Management Systems (e.g. Maximo).
• A full and valid driving license will be essential with a forklift license preferable.
• The ability to work alone and use initiative to prioritise tasks.
