  • Partner with Data and AI Platform Owners to shape platform direction, prioritise investment, and ensure successful adoption of Data, AI and Automation capabilities across the business.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership across Data and AI initiatives, actively contributing to solution design, architecture decisions and problem solving where required.
  • Stay at the forefront of emerging AI, data and automation technologies, assessing industry trends and opportunities to bring new capabilities and expertise the business, with a strong focus on building and growing in-house capability.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Lead Developers, fostering a high-performing engineering culture, strong technical standards and continuous learning.
  • Act as the key interface between business stakeholders, engineering teams, architects and strategic partners, ensuring appropriate governance, standards and controls are applied across the portfolio.

You Have

  • A passion for emerging technology, evidenced by maintaining awareness of AI, data and industry developments, and successfully translating innovation into practical business value.
  • Experience building internal capability and reducing dependency on third parties through the development of skills, platforms and engineering expertise.
  • Proven people leadership experience, including coaching and developing senior technical professionals and creating high-performing engineering teams.
