Base Location: Aldershot or Portsmouth

You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in the office/depot

Salary: £54,952 - £64,738 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Join our team as a Resource and Scheduling Manager and take the lead in keeping our regional operations running safely, smoothly and efficiently.

You’ll play a central role in coordinating resources, driving performance and supporting our delivery teams to provide excellent customer service while meeting and exceeding regulatory standards.

You will be:

  • Accountable for delivering safe outcomes for employees, customers and the environment, ensuring all colleagues are properly informed, trained, authorised and supervised.

  • Responsible for scheduling and delivering training, refresher programmes and operational authorisations for industrial employees.

  • Leading a commercially focused team to deliver a cost-effective, compliant function, driving efficient processes, maximising resources and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

  • Managing budgets to optimise regulatory incentives, with a strong understanding of RIIO ED2/ED3 measures and performance drivers.

  • Line management responsibility for Internal Resource Managers, Schedulers and associated frontline staff.

You will have:

  • Strong people management skills, with experience leading and motivating large, target-driven teams, alongside programme and scheduling management experience.

  • Sound business and technical knowledge of electricity distribution or a similar sector.

  • Experience developing and managing business plans and budgets to achieve financial targets within a sizeable operational unit.

  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of value drivers in operational service delivery across industrial and office-based teams.

  • Relevant operational and technical experience, with a solid working knowledge of NRSWA, SROH and RIGS.

This role involves travel across various locations to support business needs. To enable you to fulfil these responsibilities, as a role requirement, the company will provide access to a vehicle for work-related travel.

The requirement will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, and if the company car policy criteria are met, there will be an opportunity to join the company car scheme. Provision of a company car or cash allowance does not form part of the contractual terms and conditions of employment for this role.

A valid driving licence is essential.
