Base Location: For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from one of our Scottish locations – Perth, Aberdeen or Inverness.

Salary: £35,200 - £52,800 + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

The role

SSEN Transmission has a fantastic opportunity for a Resilience Analyst to join our Risk & Assurance team.  The Risk & Assurance team proactively identify and assess enterprise risk and controls to deliver strategic priorities and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations through coordinated assurance activities.  

The role aims to enhance organisational resilience by supporting a strong Business Continuity Management System. The Resilience Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, contributing to Business Continuity and Resilience initiatives. You will analyse data to identify and address gaps, risks, and threats, while supporting incident management to ensure reliable service delivery.

You will

- Develop and maintain a robust Business Continuity Management System (BCMS), including Business Impact Analysis, Continuity Plans, Playbooks, and recovery strategy testing

- Analyse data to identify trends, support decision-making on risk, assurance and resilience, and track corrective actions

- Review systems for resilience, ensuring compliance and identifying improvements, and supporting integrated assurance

- Deliver training programs and awareness campaigns on business continuity to support a well-informed and prepared workforce

- Build relationships with stakeholders to foster collaboration and support compliance with internal standards and industry best practice

You have

- Experience in business continuity or resilience, ideally accredited to CBCI level or above

- Strong understanding of management systems and processes, with the ability to ensure compliance and influence change

- Strong attention to detail, strong data analysis skills, and experience with KPIs and external reporting. Power BI and SQL experience is essential

- A proactive approach to problem-solving, high personal motivation and resilience and ability to learn from setbacks, and the ability to inspire others to drive progress

- Ability to take ownership of decisions, work independently, and build collaborative relationships
