  • Issuing job packs in line with contractual and regulatory requirements, providing guidance where needed and escalating any issues to help keep projects moving.
  • Building your knowledge of industry regulations, processes and best practice, while taking part in training and competency development to support safe and compliant delivery.
  • Supporting the team during emergency situations and severe weather events, helping minimise customer interruptions and resolve issues as quickly as possible.

You have:

  • Experience in Project Management or Project Coordination with a desire to develop further in this area
  • An understanding of SSE's connections methodology, or a related industry such as Independent Connection Providers (ICP’s), Independent Distribution Network Operators (IDNO’s) would be beneficial, but not essential.
  • Familiarity with using systems and tools such as PROMIS, GIS, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, along with some knowledge of streetworks and permit requirements.
  • Strong customer focus, with the ability to build positive relationships, manage stakeholder expectations and deliver a great customer experience.

The requirement will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, and if the company car policy criteria are met, there will be an opportunity to join the company car scheme. Provision of a company car or cash allowance does not form part of the contractual terms and conditions of employment for this role.

A valid driving licence is essential.
