Project Delivery Manager

Base Location: Dublin

Salary: €65,300 - €97,900 + performance-related bonus + company vehicle + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role

SSE Airtricity is committed to becoming the leading home retrofit provider on the island of Ireland. We operate across all market segments, including social housing, private homes, and small businesses, to support customers in upgrading their homes and premises. As we scale to meet this ambition, we are expanding our Major Projects division, which will deliver large-scale programmes in partnership with SEAI, Local Authorities, and Approved Housing Bodies (AHBs).

Our Project Delivery Manager will play a central role in developing and delivering programmes of work across various retrofit schemes, linked to secured bids for Local Authorities and Housing Associations, or through our private domestic programmes in OSS and BEH.

You will

• Take responsibility for sourcing, securing, and onboarding contractors capable of delivering these programmes to the highest standards.
• Collaborate closely with key internal and external stakeholders to define programme schedules, scope requirements, and any necessary amendments.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.
• Proactively prevent cost overruns and ensure each project achieves optimal commercial outcomes for both our clients and SSE Airtricity.
• Develop and deploy a robust Safety Management System for all contracted works.

You have

• Strong commercial understanding of building works and energy upgrade projects.
• Demonstrable experience managing large-scale and multi-site programmes, with proven contractor management capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of building design principles and building energy performance.
• Comprehensive knowledge of SEAI requirements.
• Strong negotiation, influencing and project management skills.
