The role

The Product Manager (Evolve) is a senior role accountable for end‑to‑end delivery of system and product outcomes, ensuring solutions provide measurable customer and business value. Operating across the full lifecycle, design, development, delivery and operational support, the role acts as the primary business representative and the key interface between business functions and technology teams.

You will

  • Provide specialist insight to identify emerging market opportunities, regulatory shifts and system gaps, shaping the long‑term product vision. Act as the senior advisor to the Director (beyond line‑management hierarchy), informing strategic decisions that materially influence business value and risk exposure.
  • Lead the end‑to‑end development, evolution and optimisation of products and processes, ensuring alignment to organisational strategy and delivery of measurable customer and commercial outcomes. Define and continuously refine the business value case based on market intelligence, business needs and customer insights, and deliver benefit realisation.
  • Drive collaboration across technology, operational, commercial and regulatory teams to translate strategic intent into tangible deliverables. Maintain authority as the primary business representative, ensuring effective prioritisation and resource alignment to enable a continuous flow of high‑value outcomes. Apply lessons learned process and actively elicit relevant feedback.
  • Hold delegated authority from the VSO/Sponsor to make time‑critical decisions affecting £0.5m–£5m per event, with overall revenue at risk of c.£2.5bn. Provide expert challenge and guidance into governance processes, ensuring compliance with organisational policy, regulatory standards and risk‑mitigation expectations.
  • Lead the incorporation of customer feedback, competitive analysis and operational performance data to enhance product propositions. Anticipate evolving customer needs and ensure product roadmaps reflect strategic value, differentiation and long‑term relevance.

 

You have

  • Strong leadership capability with the ability to guide Scrum/Agile teams, influence cross‑functional groups, and optimise team performance.
  • Advanced stakeholder and relationship‑management skills, including negotiation, engagement and supplier interaction at senior levels.
  • Able to articulate and promote an environment aligned with organisational vision and values while encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to shape business cases, assess value, and deliver end‑to‑end initiatives that realise measurable organisational benefits.
