Renewable Hydro Operations Apprentices - August 2025 Intake
About the Role
Base Locations: Tummel Workshop (Pitlochry, Perth and Kinross), Tummel Valley (Pitlochry, Aberfeldy),
Salary: starting at circa £12,626 plus a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing, and family. Salary upon finishing the apprenticeship is circa £32,000 per annum.

Our four-year multi-craft (electrical and mechanical) apprenticeship gives you the chance to develop practical skills and technical knowledge while working in one of the most exciting industries—renewable energy!
Learn and Earn – Get paid while gaining real-world experience.
Hands-on Training – Split your time between college and working at one of our Hydro Power Stations
Valuable Qualifications – Gain:
NC Electrical & NC Mechanical qualifications during 18 months at college.
A SCQF Level 7 Modern Apprenticeship in Asset Lifecycle and Maintenance during your 30 months of workplace training.
Support Every Step of the Way – You’ll have mentors, training staff, and a team of colleagues to guide and support you.
A Future in Renewable Energy – By the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll have industry-recognised qualifications and the skills to build a rewarding career.
