Salary: £36,139 - £43,188 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role

As a Material Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting SSEN Transmission's delivery of a safe, reliable and efficient network. Working closely with Procurement, Logistics, Operations, Engineering and external suppliers, you'll maintain accurate material data, support compliance activities, produce reporting and drive continuous improvements that enable effective planning and decision-making across the business.

You will

  • Create, update, and maintain material master data in systems and tools (e.g., Maximo, Excel, SharePoint).
  • Ensure data accuracy through validation and cleansing (e.g., part numbers, serial numbers, descriptions, units of measure, suppliers, and classifications).
  • Collaborate with teams and external parties to review and classify new material and data requests.
  • Monitor and audit data quality, resolving discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to support analysis.

You have

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, SharePoint, Databases, Microsoft Office Suite, and Power BI
  • Experience of supply chain / procurement / manufacturing / data management processes, data governance, Microsoft Forms or PowerApps would be advantageous, but not essential.
