Base Location: Glasgow

The role

A brand new role within P&C to support the creation and operation of a new sourcing centre of excellence

You will

• Lead a team of 30 sourcing experts across all categories of spend, ranging from complex regulated events to low value, low risk.
• Drive a consistency of approach, adoption of the most appropriate sourcing method to drive efficiency and value.
• Liaise with the Heads of Category Management to ensure all new sourcing requests are fulfilled.
• Ensure interfacing across the teams delivers high-quality sourcing outcomes
• Achieve an ROI of 8x cost of team and >97% on time sourcing cycle time performance against expected target dates

You have

• Great people leader and able to develop / nurture talent and manage poor performance
• A sourcing expert across a range of sourcing types and able to leverage best practice e.g. competitive dialogue
• Well organised and data-driven manager of resources
• Appreciation of how technology and AI to drive continued efficiency and productivity
